Day 1 : Mumbai
Begin your tour
Arrive into Mumbai
Welcome to Vardhman's "South India Trip ". On arrival at Mumbai,you will be met and transferred by Vardhman representative to your hotel.
Later proceed on a city tour of Mumbai.
Visit the Gateway of India,The stone archway designed by Wittett in the 16th century Gujarati style, Prince of Whales Museum & Elephanta Caves – 9 kms by sea. These 7th century rock – cut cave temples dedicated to Lord Shiva are situated a top a hill on the island. In the evening make your way through the various sets of a typical film studio. From a place to the village square. See men with cameras mounted on cranes shooting sequences, inviting your tour of Film city's electrifying ambience while dining on delicacies that are no less interesting than the 'masala' (spice ) of Indian movies.

Day 2 : Mumbai - Calicut (By flight)
This morning after breakfast transfer to the Mumbai airport to catch flight for Calicut. Upon arrival at Calicut check into your hotel.
Later proceed on a city tour of Calicut.
Visit Pookot Lake, Thali Temple, Pazhassi Raja Museum, Dolphin's Point, Ettumanoor Temple etc.

Day 3 : Calicut - Kappad
This morning after breakfast drive to Kappad. Upon arrival at Kappad check into your hotel.
Full day free for lesire activites on beach.

Day 4 : Kappad - Vythri
after breakfast drive to Vythri. Upon arrival at Vythri check into your hotel
Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5 : Vythri
This morning after breakfast enjoy the Eco-Friendly nature at its best. Later visit fascinating Kuruva Island, Tholpetty wild life sanctuary.

Day 6 : Vythri - Calicut - Cochin
After breakfast drive back to Calicut. On arrival transfer to the Calicut railway station to catch train for Cochin. Upon arrival at Cochin check into your hotel.

Day 7 : Cochin
This morning after breakfast proceed on a sightseeing of Cochin.
Visit the Jewish Synagogue, Portuguese Churches, Dutch Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets, Gunda and Willington Islands, Kerala History Museum, Hill Palace Museum, Parishath Taamburan Museum,Santacruz Cathedral (Basilica),Spice Market, etc.
Evening sunset cruise on Cochin Harbour where you have a chance of seeing dolphins.

Day 8 : Cochin - Kumarakom
After breakfast drive to Kumarakom and check into the hotel. Later visit the villages, the Bird Sanctuary, the Country Boat Cruise, or go for an Ayurvedic Massage.

Day 9 : Kumarakom - Houseboat
Today morning board the houseboat (Kettuvalam) and spend the day cruising through the backwaters. The backwaters of Kerala are a unique product of Kerala and are found nowhere else in the world. Kumarakom Backwaters too are a network of lakes, canals and estuaries and deltas of forty-four rivers that drain into the Arabian Sea. The backwaters of Kerala are a self supporting Eco-system teeming with aquatic life. The canals connect the villages together and are still used for local transport. Over 900 km of this labyrinthine water world is navigable.

Day 10 : Alleppey - Kovalam
The houseboat comes to a halt at Alleppey today morning after breakfast. Proceed to Kovalam and transfer to beach resort on arrival. Day free to relax at the golden beach. Spend the night at the resort.
Later time free on the beach.
Overnight: Hotel/ Resort

Day 11 : Kovalam - Neyyar
In the morning, drive to Neyyar situated in the base of the forest, Agastyarkoodam, where the Hindu Saint Agastya spent his life in meditation.
Overnight : Hotel

Day 12 : Neyyar
Early in the morning, attend Yoga and meditation sessions. The rest of the day would be spent at leisure enjoying nature and mild trekking.

Day 13 : Neyyar - Kovalam
Early in the morning, attend Yoga and meditation sessions. Later drive to Kovalam enroute visit Aruvikkara.
Overnight : Hotel

Day 14 : Kovalam - Trivandrum
This morning after breakfast transfer to the Trivandrum airport/railway station to catch flight/train for your onward destination with sweet and unforgettable memories of "South India Trip " escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
